Claire King by Claire King

Claire King is known and loved by millions for her portrayals of TV superbitches Kim Tate in "Emmerdale" and Wing Governor Karen Betts in the hugely popular, award-winning "Bad Girls". Astonishingly, she has managed to keep her private life out of the press...until now. Finally, and in her own words, Claire tells the amazing story of her incredible life - from behind-the-scenes gossip from the nation's favourite TV shows, to her string of romances with high-profile names from all walks of life (most of which have never been revealed before and some of which will certainly shock...). She also tells of her heartbreak when her husband and "Emmerdale" co-star left her for another cast member. As raunchy as it is revealing, this book leaves no stone unturned to reveal a fascinating and remarkable woman.
Claire King was brought up in North Yorkshire. She began her career as a DJ at the Warehouse club in Leeds. Having lived in London for several years, Claire returned to her native Yorkshire where she took on the role of Kim Tate in Emmerdale, and helped to turn the fortunes of the soap around. Both this role, and her role in prison drama Bad Girls have won her a huge fan base and untold amounts of critical acclaim.
