Gregory E.Pence is a professor of philosophy at the University of Alabama in Birmingham's Colleges of Medicine and Arts/Humanities, where he has taught and published about bioethics for over two decades. He is the co-author of Seven Dilemmas in World Religions and the author of Classic Cases in Medical Ethics. He is also the editor of Classic Works in Medical Ethics. He currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
