Dr. Hickey is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and American Association of Neuroscience Nursing.
