Toby Faber was MD of Faber for four years and remains on the board; he is also chairman of Faber Music. He has written three highly praised works of non-fiction, Stradivarius, Fabergé’s Eggs, and Inside Faber, a history of the publishing firm which was published in May 2019. This is his first novel. He lives in London with his family.
