The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) is a widely adopted set of guidelines for evaluating and improving an organization's software development processes. While at Infosys, he was one of the main architects behind Infosys' move to high-maturity levels of the CMM. He is also the author of CMM in Practice: Processes for Executing Software Projects at Infosys (Addison-Wesley, 2000), in which he discusses the implementation of CMM in an organization.
