Christopher Henry Perkins has been involved in Numismatics since he was a young street urchin, prowling the (now, often long forgotten) coin shops, looking for coins and input. He runs an extensive website on current UK coins - checkyourchange.co.uk (with an excellent app). He still hates media coin hype, detests the often quite misleading and hard-sell sales pitches used by certain sellers of modern related items and has an aversion to badly researched, regurgitated tabloid and click-bait coin features. His books attempt to put the rumours straight without getting into a frenzy. He can sometimes come over a little blunt, even after several editorial waves of toning it down a bit for print!
