Collio by Carla Capalbo
A guide to the wines and food of the region of Collio in the North East of Italy
This is more than a guidebook: here Carla asks, Carla tastes, Carla sees and Carla tellsAnd in so doing, she confirms my belief that the identity of a region and its people is built through the exchange not only of products and ideas, but also of the fruits of the earth and their producers. - Carlo Petrini, President, Slow Food. This book should be viewed as a neccessary companion for anyone contemplating a visit to Venice and points East, indeed anyone seeking to bring a fresh new gastronomic experience into their lives. - Nicolas Belfrage MW, author of Barolo to Valpolicella: The Wines of Northern italy.
Carla Capalbo was born in New York, brought up in Paris and London, and has lived in Italy for twenty years.
