Adrian Crisp enjoyed a successful career as a consultant physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, for 30 years. He now divides his life between Cambridge, where he is a Fellow of Churchill College, and the Scottish Borders. History has been his lifelong addiction.
