A small but beautifully-formed collection of poetry, The Colour of my Dreams was first published in 2002. Sometimes gloriously happy, sometimes charmingly innocent, the book is filled with gems that encourage the reader to look at life from a different angle, free from the rigid shackles of grown up life. Now with a stunning new cover, the book has been re-launched to coincide with an innovative new charity project, led by Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows.
Originally from London, Peter Dixon came to Hampshire in the 1970's and spent twenty years working as a Senior Lecturer in Early Years Education before becoming a full time writer, painter and performer in 1995. A meeting with Roger McGough in the Fulflood Arms pub inspired him to start writing and years later it was to be this self-same pub where he and Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows hatched the plan to turn The Colour of my Dreams into an album.
