COLOUR REFLEXOLOGY by Phillipa Merivale

Colour Reflexology explains how colour therapy can be integrated with reflexology techniques to enhance the treatment and even allow for a pain-free session, which is not always possible with reflexology alone. The author explains the principle concepts from a scientific point of view, and defines key terms such as complementary colour, treatment colour and overall colour. Chapters are organized according to the colours that are associated with each of the seven chakras, with additional spreads also being devoted to the extra five colours that make up the twelve-colour wheel and which are used in colour therapy. Within each chapter diagrams highlight the colour reflexes on the hands and feet and the associated parts of the body, advice on the diagnosis and treatment of common ailments is given, and visualization exercises are described. Written primarily for practitioners, but also of use for anyone wanting to understand and use colour to improve their general health and well-being, this book fills a hitherto neglected area of the market.
Pauline Wills runs a thriving practice in reflexology and colour therapy in London. She also runs the Oracle School of Colour and provides talks and workshops throughout Europe.
