The Colours of the Dance by E J Pepper
Covers the moment in history when the English Government was trying to introduce a form of Irish self-rule that would unite the whole country. Set in late nineteenth century Ireland, this is a fresh and original story told by ten-year-old narrator, Brede.
E J Pepper grew up in Worcestershire and Co. Donegal, and now lives with her husband on the Surrey/Sussex border. She has worked as a marital therapist and as a magistrate and has an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Chichester. She is the author of Flight Path, published in 2020, and is currently working on her third novel.
