Graham Kendrick's Servant King has become a contemporary classic, as have Timothy Dudley Smith's Tell out my soul, the greatness of the Lord, and Michael Saward's Christ triumphant, ever reigning, but many other texts from these and other writers today have been overshadowed by their more famous stablemates. 290 specially selected hymn texts are included here in printed form and on CD-ROM. Well known tunes are suggested for each and biblical, seasonal and thematic indexes are included to enable congregations to introduce these compositions into their repertoire with ease.
