Community Fundraising is one of the oldest and most common forms of fundraising and yet in spite of this there is surprisingly little written about this area of fundraising. This book fills that gap.
Sam Rider has worked for a number of international and national charities such as VSO, Shelter, Age UK, Hospice UK,as a Fundraising Director and Charity CEO. She has has managed annual income budgets of over GBP12 million and capital appeals of GBP10 million. Now she is a consultant to charities helping them to develop sustainable fundraising strategies.
She is also a tutor for the Institute of Fundraising's professional qualifications, an Associate Lecturer for Chichester University's Charity Development degree and a tutor on Kent University's Philanthropy Studies MA.
