Dr. Lowry's current research focuses on his interest in fossil fuel free energy sources and forms of transport which do not emit carbon dioxide. He believes that scientific and technical predictions indicate fossil free energy will be economic by 2025 and that electric transport will become widespread. Dr. Lowry believes that if we act now these will be well established by 2050 and this will cut carbon dioxide emissions, with its associated global warming and pollution in general.
