The Complete Book of Plant Propagation by Graham Clarke
Raising plants from seeds or cuttings is one of the greatest pleasures for the gardener. The Complete Book of Plant Propagation is the only book the amateur gardener will need on this subject, it will provide inspiration and information for a lifetime of successful propagation. All aspects of the subject are covered and every method is clearly illustrated. Colour photographs and numerous line drawings enhance the very detailed text covering not only the history of plant propagation and a study of recent developments, but more specific instruction on techniques such as seed sowing undercover, raising plants from spores, through to grafting, budding and even microplantation.
Graham Clarke studied horticulture at the Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Wisley, and at the Merrist Wood College of Agriculture and Horticulture.
