Complete Idiot's Guide to the FBI by John Simeone

The Complete Idiot's Guide(R) to the FBI will take the reader on an informative and comprehensive tour of the largest law enforcement agency in the world. This book offers a first-rate overview of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, whether it's tracking domestic terrorists or sampling DNA. This book will also include a comprehensive section on finding employment in the Bureau, and the kinds of skills and requirements necessary to accomplish that.
John Simeone is a 23-year veteran of the FBI, specializing in the fields of counter-terrorism planning (where he planned and coordinated multi-agency national nuclear anti-terrorist exercises), nuclear crisis management, firearms training, and created and managed the Bureau's first counter-terrorism crisis management program. He was personally selected by the Director of the FBI to be the first Deputy Commander of the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team. He is currently an independent security consultant for a number of prominent governmental and corporate institutions. David Jacobs is the author of more than 20 books, and was Pinnacle Publishing's liaison to Court TV, where he edited the successful Best of Court TV series, including Too Young To Die (5/01) and With Deadly Intent (11/01).
