He headed public, private and non-profit human service organizations over a long and distinguished career, receiving numerous awards for service. Tim's hobbies include flying, vintage cars and NHRA drag racing. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Oldsmobile Club and is a Denver Police Honorary Lieutenant. He is active in veterans' organizations and causes. Tim is the author of two award-winning books (1) Marines Never Cry: Becoming a Man When it Mattered, and (2) Flying Upside Down: Life Lessons for the Faint of Heart.
