Concise English-Chinese Chinese-English Dictionary by A P Cowie
A new and unique bi-directional pocket dictionary ideal for learners of English and Chinese.Cowie is a University of Leeds Honorary Reader in Lexicography. He was co-editor of the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary's third edition and chief editor of the fourth edition. He was the editor of the International Journal of Lexicography from 1998 to 2003 and co-editor of the Oxford Dictionary of English Idioms. English Dictionaries for Foreign Learners: A History (OUP, 1999) and Phraseology: Theory, Analysis, and Applications (OUP, 1998) are two of his books. He is currently working on the Oxford Dictionary of English Idioms, second edition, by A. Mackin and I are the two of us.
