Christopher Orlebar joined British Airlines in 1969 and went on to become a Concorde pilot and instructor in 1976, spending ten years flying the aircraft. In the year 2000, he left BA. He is a frequent contributor to TV aviation programs, a lecturer, and a writer, and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
