Confessions of an Islamophobe by Robert Spencer

As seen on NRATV! While the United States, and indeed most of the Western world, fights an active war against Islamic terrorism, we remain in deep denial about who truly is the enemy. Elites across North America and Europe fight to silence those who argue, compellingly, that the roots of terrorism are within Islam itself which has evolved into far more than a religion—it is a radical and dangerous political ideology which consciously, if often tacitly, places itself in opposition to democracy and basic human rights. Robert Spencer, one of the world’s foremost critical scholars of Islam, has been labeled Public Enemy #1 by those who apologize for Islam and its violent excesses. He has been called a propagandist, a racist, and an “Islamophobe”—a term that he willingly embraces in this provocative and important book. There needs to be a thoroughgoing and honest public discussion of the acceptable parameters of criticism of Islam in light of genuine interests not only of national security but of civilizational survival. Our lives, quite literally, could depend on it, as could those of our children and our children’s children. Confessions of an Islamophobe is an attempt to begin that discussion.
"No one has upset the Islamophobia cabal more than Robert SpencerFirst, he knows more about Islamic doctrine than they do. Next, he has outed all the tricks they use in their taqiyyah bag to disinform the public. Finally, and most importantly, Robert will not be cowed. Please read this important book and make sure you share it with as many people as possible." -- Ayaan Hirsi Ali, human rights activist, author of Heretic: Why Islam Needs Reformation Now
"Again, a truly historic book by truth-teller Robert Spencer, hero of our times and one of the bravest defenders of liberty that I have ever met. Read it and learn how much we need courageous 'Islamophobes' as Robert in order to stay free people." -- Geert Wilders MP, Chairman Party for Freedom, The Netherlands
"Robert Spencer writes with courage, wit and erudition about the most pressing problem of our times. His work is must reading for anyone who wants to understand why Islam produces so many violent outcomes and so many threats to life in the West." -- David Goldman, author of How Civilizations Die: (And Why Islam Is Dying Too)
"Robert Spencer is one of the most informed scholars on the nature of Islam and the jihadist threat. He is also one of the bravest. Confessions of an Islamophobe is an indispensable guide to how American leftists from Linda Sarsour to Bernie Sanders have joined forces with the Islamic enemies of women, gays, Jews, Christians, and other infidels, in an unholy alliance against America and its freedoms." -- David Horowitz, bestselling author and founder of the David Horowitz Freedom Center
"For years now, legitimate concerns about Islamic terrorism and related issues have been dismissed as 'bigotry' and 'Islamophobia.' In this masterful new book, Robert Spencer explains why those charges are unjustified. He details what is at stake, and how the genuine threat is being ignored and enabled by those who direct campaigns of abuse against those who are sounding the alarm. Confessions of an Islamophobe is a clarion call, a clear and heartfelt appeal to those who think terrorism is a matter of partisan politics, and that this threat has been trumped-up or exaggerated. As Spencer shows, the stakes couldn't be higher. This is one book to give to lawmakers and all Americans who don't realize the full extent of what is happening today." -- Steven Emerson, The Investigative Project on Terrorism
"Don't want to get run down by a truck on a New York street by a maniac screaming 'Allahu akbar?' Object to polygamy and female genital mutilation? You must be an Islamophobe. Whether you are a dedicated Islamophobe or merely Islamophobia-curious, Robert Spencer's brilliant new book is for you! Confessions of an Islamophobe will convince all but the clinically insane that Islamophobia is at least as virtuous as the media's all-consuming Nazi-phobia — and somewhat more urgent." -- Ann Coulter, author of Adios America!
Robert Spencer is director of Jihad Watch and a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He is the author of thirty books, including the bestsellers The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades); The Truth About Muhammad; The History of Jihad from Muhammad to ISIS; and The Critical Qur’an. Spencer has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the FBI, the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army’s Asymmetric Warfare Group, the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), the Justice Department’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and the U.S. intelligence community. He has discussed jihad, Islam, and terrorism at a workshop sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the German Foreign Ministry. He is a senior fellow with the Center for Security Policy and is a regular columnist for PJ Media and FrontPage Magazine. His works have been translated into numerous languages.
