Contract Law, Selected Source Materials Annotated

The feel-good place to buy books

Contract Law, Selected Source Materials Annotated by Steven Burton
This updated, best-selling supplement continues to contain Article 2 of the U.C.C., extensive excerpts from the Restatement (Second) of Contracts, the CISG, EU Directives, sample contracts and many other domestic and international materials. It can be used with any contracts casebook. Recent editions have received a significant makeover. Most notably, the supplement now includes short annotations that introduce each selection. These annotations put each selection in context by explaining its origins, central purpose(s), scope of application, and current legal status. Students will better understand the selection's point, purpose, and content; and teachers will have less need to explain an assigned selection's context.Steven J. Burton is the John F. Murray Professor of Law at the University of Iowa. He has taught for over 30 years and published two books on contract law, Principles of Contract Law (3rd ed. 2006) and Contractual Good Faith (1995). He has also published three additional books, and multiple journal
articles on contract law. Professor Burton occasionally serves as an arbitrator or expert witness in cases involving contract disputes. He was also a Fulbright Scholar, a University Faculty Scholar, and a recipient of the Burlington-Northern Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching.
