Counseling Children and Adolescents by Sondra Smith-Adcock
This book uses case studies to review the most relevant theoretical approaches for counselling children."The integration of CACREP Standards, school counseling strategies, and specific developmental issues make this a great text for teaching child and adolescent counseling courses"
-- Janet Froeschle"This text steps into the arena of applicable theories for counselors to use with children and adolescents. It would be essential for any counselor to understand the basic tenants of theories that are used most and most effectively with children and adolescents. The consequences of neuroscience will be the future of outcome-based counseling for this population, and this text is one of the first to entertain the concept." -- Charles R. Crews
