Crash Course on Christian Teaching by Martin H Manser
Written for those "on the outside", this book presents a biblical, conservative outline to the basics of the Christian message which has shaped much of Western culture and has changed millions of lives around the globe.
It is an easy readI would feel comfortable giving it to someone enquiring about the content of Christian teaching, or to a new Christian seeking an overview of doctrine. It is not "evangelistic". - Kalev Ots, ibid"a very user-friendly guide to basic Christian teaching . . . the overall framework is clear . . . each chapter has a series of clearly headed sections and subsections with helpful summaries and diagrams . . .' - Robert Draycott, Baptist Times
Martin H. Manser trained as a linguist and his interest in lexicography led him to take up a post as a reference book editor. Since 1980 he has worked freelance compiling and editing a wide range of English-language dictionaries and word books with a contemporary feel. He has also edited and written books to encourage people to read the Bible for themselves.
