Creative Connections Cookbook by Jason Thomas
If you are a veteran in the kitchen or just beginning, this book will help you create great dishes that will satisfy any palate. The recipes are a step by step guide to finger licking and lip smacking goodness. Simple quick dishes, we have it. Something for the entire family, we have that to. Recipes that you can pass on to your friends and family members for generations to come. As you open the pages of this book get ready for the next chapter of your cooking skills. The best for the best. YouI grew up in College Park, Georgia, on Atlanta's southside. I went to North Clayton High School, which has a very diverse student body and helped me learn and appreciate many cooking methods. Following high school, I attended Georgia Military College and subsequently Savannah State University, where I played football. I learnt how to make down-home comfort cuisine while at GMC. During my time at SSU, I learnt how to create a variety of seafood and coastal cuisines.
After graduation, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I played football, got my bartender license, and learned how to barbecue in the Carolina style. After that, I'll do a time in the military and then work for the railroad. This allowed me to re-enter the kitchen and master a wide range of cooking techniques. From a young age, though, I developed a fascination for cooking and making various types of dishes.
Growing up, I learned from my grandmother in Orangeburg, SC, and other family members across the South, as well as my mother at home and Janice, my stepmother. I had a lot of male influence as well, who took me under their wing and taught me how to prepare and cook various cuisines. For example, many American homestyles, Asian and European cuisines, and various Spanish styles, to name a few. When people ask me, What is your favorite or greatest thing to make? I always respond, What is your favorite or best thing to make?
Brittany Munch Munch Thomas, my only kid, is now a student at Savannah State University. I still live on the Southside of Atlanta in Peachtree City, Ga, where I am a private consultant, artist, TV personality, and now author, despite all the vicissitudes of residence and travel that helped sharpen my culinary skills.
