Observing that the medium has unlimited potential for creativity, his interest in using it to create his art was a natural choice. Mixed media collage and assemblage have always been central to Mr. Azzari's work, and encaustics has afforded him greater flexibility to explore both visual and tactile textures. He enjoys the creative process inherent in encaustics as much as his finished works.
