This study looks at contemporary psychological research and theory into criminal behaviour and considers the relationship between psychological and criminological theories. At the same time, the book examines the impact of psychology on strategies.Clive R. Hollin is Emeritus Professor at the University of Leicester. He has written and edited over 20 books, and over 300 academic papers and book chapters, relating to psychology and crime. He edited the journal Psychology, Crime, & Law from 1992 to 2012. He has worked at three universities, for two governments departments (Home Office and Department of Health), and in prisons, special hospitals, and regional secure units. In 1998 Clive was presented with the British Psychological Society, Division of Criminological and Legal Psychology, Senior Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Field of Legal, Criminological and Forensic Psychology.
