Critical Thinking and Writing for Nursing Students by Bob Price
Critical thinking and writing are core skills that nursing students are expected to develop and evidence throughout their studies. However, many nursing students find learning to think critically a little daunting. This book is a clear and practical guide to help students develop these skills. The book explains what critical thinking is and its importance within nursing practice, how to use these skills in practical contexts, and how the student can demonstrate their abilities in written form. Throughout, the book demonstrates the transferable nature of critical thinking and reflection from academic contexts to the real practice of nursing.
"A great, affordable textStudents often ask "how can I make my work more analytical?", and this book explains this succinctly. I have used the activities and examples within my tutorials with effect - I have noticed the difference in their writing, and the reflective section has enhanced their learning." (Senior Lecturer, Anglia Ruskin University)
