Lisa gets together with a fun bunch of crocheters to exchange new ideas, techniques, and supplies. She also teaches crocheting at the library in her neighborhood. Lisa began her design career in 2004 when she began selling her patterns on Ebay.
She sat down in a craft store in 2005 and crocheted her way into the Guinness Book of World Records with an average speed of 170 stitches per minute. Since then, she's been commissioned to produce patterns for well-known yarn businesses, and her patterns have featured in numerous periodicals and nearly 20 books. Besides from crocheting, she enjoys working in her flower and vegetable gardens, cooking, baking, and swimming in the lake.
