Kevin Peter Pietersen (or KP) was born on 27th June 1980 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and moved to England in 2000 to play for his mother's native country. He has played for Natal, KwaZulu-Natal, Nottinghamshire, Hampshire and England. Having played an outstanding, record-breaking game in The Ashes he was awarded Man of the Match. He scored 158 and broke numerous records.
