Crown Jewel by Ian Lloyd
In 1988 the Queen Mother carried out 120 engagements, followed everywhere by photographers. Ian Lloyd is a self-confessed fanatic and has been photographing the Queen Mother for ten years. He travelled 7000 miles round Britain by train or bicycle to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks to Her Majesty's personal favour Ian Lloyd enjoys special and privileged access to the Queen Mother's household, having met her on several occasions. The idea for this book received her formal approval and encouragement. He won the Martini Award for photography.Ian Lloyd, Senior Research Fellow, LAWS: The Institute for Law and the Web, Faculty of Business and Law, University of Southampton Professor Ian J.
