Most mountain climbers and hillwalkers visiting Skye are climbing one of the 12 Munros, 9 Munro Tops, 2 Corbetts, 9 Grahams and 35 sub-2000ft Marilyns on the island. A journalist by profession, Tom Prentice lives in Glasgow and has spent his life photographing and exploring the mountains and climbs of the Highlands & Islands, contributing articles to newspapers and magazines and authoring guidebooks. A co-founder of Mica Publishing, until 2017 he was Publisher for the Scottish Mountaineering Club, overseeing the compilation and production of their climbing, scrambling and hillwalking guidebooks.
