The backstory of this book:Two years ago, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas went to Brazil to shoot a series of videos for his solo album Songs About Girls. A month later he came back and sat with Jimmy Iovine(Chairman of Interscope, Geffen, A&M Records) to look through the footage. Although the narrative thread connecting the videos was not instantly clear, Will did discover something iconic and primal in Brazil: Culo. will.i.am and Jimmy decided to create a book capturing the most artistic and majestic Culo in the world and brought Raphael on board to make their vision a reality.
