The Cure of Ars by Bartholomew O'brien

Life of the great St. John Vianney (1786-1859). He barely succeeded in becoming a priest, but from the humblest parish imaginable, he became the Patron Saint of Parish Priests everywhere. He spent hours in the confessional, and because of his virtuous life he had to confront the devil many times. Read this concise and edifying biography of the famous Cure of Ars.
The Rev. Father Bartholomew J. O'Brien was a priest and author of the twentieth century. His concise biography on The Cure of Ars: Patron Saint of Parish Priests was written to provide a general and factual account of the saint's life, complete with dates and popular quotations. Father O'Brien's book was originally published in 1956 by the J. S. Paluch Company, Chicago, with the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. It was also retypeset by TAN in 1987 with the arrangement of the author, and once more in 2007.
