NEIL HANSON was born in Douglas, Isle of Man, in 1946 and practised as an Advocate in Douglas from 1968 to 2011. A lifelong enthusiast for both two and four-wheeled motorsport, he is a former Clerk of the Course of the Manx International Car Rally and of the TT and Manx Grand Prix Races. Since his retirement, he has turned to writing about the Island's motorsport history.
