Lageschulte, Melanie: - Melanie Lageschulte is the author of Growing Season and Harvest Season (2017). A third book in the series, The Peaceful Season, is planned for fall 2018. Melanie grew up on an acreage in northern Iowa. She's spent much of her professional life telling the stories of Iowa and its residents, including several years as a reporter and editor for the Des Moines Register.
