Dark Salt / Dark Soul by Michael Markevich
The author is speaking about the way, method, or apparatus of soul and its infusion with the human condition. Worship as achieved aesthetically embellishes dark chaos energy of possibility. A familiar nuclear furnace is used to describe spiritual emergence. The narrative may at times read like a scientific handbook of the life force known as soul. The idea of divinity is spoken of quite often but, as a dark force, has nothing to do with religion. The G-word is used, and it is hoped that a readers sophistication with the series realizes it as a kind of abbreviation. Perpetuity principle is introduced, and the purpose of humankind is unveiled. Establishing oneself as a citizen of the fifth civilization of humankind is emphasized, and via audition, prayer contribution completes the reason for experiential circumstance. As a deviation from any form, this title is not for a casual reader in a waiting room or idling away an afternoon. A reader should be familiar with the previous titles and may even be in pursuit of a citizenry in the fifth civilization. In a category of spiritual adventure, an audience might be seeking, searching, or attempting to unveil the true name of their hearts desire. Key words are spiritual adventure, directive of soul, or true hearts desire.
Michael grew up in a blue collar town where most teens talked about making their escape. He made a personal commitment to escape first into the world, and then into the written word. Meeshe became a sax player and joined funk and reggae bands. He flew hang-gliders and micro-lights, and took his scuba skills to Palancar, the Red Sea and the Great Barrier Reef. He took motorcycle and Jeep trips to Alaska and the Yukon. There were sport sailing regattas in the strong trades of the Dominican Republic, and cruising on fifty footers off the British Virgin Islands. He taught sailing off the coast of Queensland, and took out kayak excursions in the caves near Guaymas. He met the wrong people in Cartagena, drank beer with friendly revolutionaries in Chiapas and there was pastoral life on a kibutz in Israel. His Arab friends took him to the Dome of the Rock, he crawled into the catacombs under the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and he read of the Kabbalah at the Citadel of ancient Caesaria Maratima. A journey into the written word then forcefully beckoned and he settled in White Rock, British Columbia where he completed the first two books of a trilogy; Carpadia and Toward Carpatian Divinity. The stories are drawn from a deep sense of gnostic provenance. The beginning of a knowledge of spiritual truths has and continues to be a paramount undertaking of research and soul evaluation. The extensive bibliographies testify to the literary investigation and the imaginative allegoric style illustrates a passion of the creative hearts desire. Michael has begun the fascinating studies necessary for the third and final story of the series. An extraordinary character / spiritual evolution will now continue toward a moment of sincere integrity.
