The Dark Side of the Inner Child by Stephen Wolinsky

Stephen Wolinsky brings us full circle in understanding the reality of our inner child. Rather than being always precious, Dr. Wolinsky shows us the dysfunctional shadow side of our inner child and puts us in touch with those frozen, inner-child memories or trance states that keep creating problems by filtering reality through outmoded, limited, and distorted lenses. The Next Step is to, finally, own and acknowledge this dark side and step out of our inner-child trance into the present time and uninterrupted awareness.

Stephen Wolinsky, a Gestalt and Reichian therapist and trainer, began his clinical practice in 1974. He went to India in 1977 to learn meditation for nearly six years. He has studied and taught Ericksonian hypnosis and family therapy, as well as classical hypnosis, psychosynthesis, and transactional analysis. Stephen Wolinsky is the author of You Are Not, I Am That I Am, Trances Humans Live, Quantum Consciousness, The Tao of Chaos, Hearts on Fire, Intimate Relationships, The Way of the Human trilogy, The Beginner's Guide to Quantum Psychology, and numerous other publications.
