Donna Fletcher agrees that doing research is part of the fun of writing. Her characters, though, are where she has the most pleasure. Donna enjoys bringing new characters to life and sharing their enthusiasm as they experience the joys and dangers of falling in love. Her personal journeys have led her to England, Ireland, and Scotland. She's walked the fields where battles were fought centuries ago, toured eerie castles, stood where beheadings were usual, investigated ancient mystic mounds, and gathered a wealth of memories and research that will live on in her heart and mind for a long time. She also enjoys exploring and shooting abandoned houses, and she frequently takes lengthy hikes in the woods with her camera. With three beautiful sons, two fantastic daughters-in-law, an unlimited supply of friends, a loving dog, and a wild, black, one-eyed cat named Bear, she considers her life rich and full.
