Data Interpretation for Medical Students by P Hamilton

Data Interpretation features heavily in all clinical assessments in medical school and on hospital rotations. This book contains subject-based chapters giving detailed notes on how to deal with all the kinds of data that doctors need to interpret in every day practice. Tables, diagrams and flowcharts are included, and each chapter features Don't forget' boxes to aid the memory. Each chapter is packed with sample cases that demonstrate how the data is applied in practice, and gives the candidate a means of testing what they are learning throughout the book. A final chapter is full of 'Complete Clinical Cases' where presenting cases require several types of data interpretation giving the candidates a flavour of 'real life' medicine. This book is written for all medical students and is ideal for OSCE practice, during ward rounds and clinical years; it is also useful to Foundation Year Doctors.
'This book is an indispensible guide in interpreting the full range of clinical data encountered daily on all wards and in OSCE examinations and should be a part of all medical students book shelves' James Duffy, Medical Student, Manchester
