Technically, Jason Foster did play football at Michigan State University. He just did not play for Michigan State University as Foster's college football experience was limited to intramural football and Tecmo Bowl on the Nintendo back in the 1980s. A former columnist for college football websites such as The Pigskin Post and College Football News, Jason Foster actually has a day job as an energy commodity manager, and a night job as a college professor. His teaching career has taken him to campuses at the University of Findlay, the University of Toledo, and Jackson (MI) Community College. Foster resides in Grass Lake, Michigan with his wife and children. When he is not managing energy commodities, teaching college students, or writing, Foster enjoys coaching youth sports and is trying to have his 8-year old son play football like William Wallace defended Scotland in Braveheart. (Except without that dying part at the end of the movie.)
