Ellis, Yvonne: - After spending her adolescent years in care, Yvonne Ellis decided to fulfil her dream of writing this book in the hope of helping those who are struggling in the aftermath of sexual abuse, and challenges surrounding it. She has also set up an organisation by the same namesake called Daughter Arise to further support and give hope to others, and her company YEME Empowerment develops resources to empower lives. Yvonne is an inspirational speaker, consultant and empowerment coach, who recently gave a Tedx talk on empowering survivors, and has spoken at many different events sharing her story with a range of different audiences. She lives in London, England, with her Husband of twelve years and has two children.
