Gilly is a writer, director, designer and animator. He graduated from IADT in 2000 and started working as freelance graphic designer. He worked as lead designer and animator on the award-winning short The Carpenter and His Clumsy Wife which won a special mention at the Venice Film Festival and won the best short comedy at the LA Film Festival. In 2005 Gilly was awarded a Flash Film board grant for his short The Marvellous Red Jumper. From 2009 to 2011 Gilly worked in post-production as head 2D animator where he animated, directed and designed television commercials. At this time Gilly also worked on his own short film The Blackbird Tree which screened across Europe and the US. Gilly is the creative director of Wiggleywoo and devises and writes all Wiggleywoo's original content, including writing and composing all the music in its productions.
