She is founder and editor of the prestigious online literary journal Jewish Fiction.net and is Writer-in- Residence and Associate Scholar at the Centre for Women's Studies in Education, at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, where she coordinates the Wonderful Women Writers Series. Last but not least, Gold is involved in activism and community work, currently with the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute in Boston, JSpaceCanada, Heart to Heart, and The Dafna Fund.
