Florentino Garca Martnez is a world-renowned Qumran expert and the director of the Qumran Institute at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is the editorial secretary of the Revue de Qumran and the Journal for the Study of Judaism, as well as a member of the International Team of Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Garca Martnez is the author of several books and essays about the Dead Sea Scrolls, including Qumran and Apocalyptic. Studies on the Qumran Aramaic Writings (Brill, 1992).
