Le, Tammy: - I was 25 years old and pregnant with my first child when I decided to write this childrens book. The reason I wrote this book is because every night I would read a bed time story to my unborn child and felt there was a problem. This generation is getting so much smarter so much faster so why are we reading books from many generations ago to this generation? Things that I knew and was doing at 10 years old - 5 year olders are doing and knowing now. When I was playing with mud and eating sand kids these days are operating smart phones and using apps better than adults. I couldn't help but feel I needed to write a book for kids that was meaningful, had purpose yet was still fun and with catchy rhymes!
