Death of Evolution by Wallace Johnson

Mr. Johnston confesses that he used to be a believer in Evolution. But reading a book on the subject opened his eyes, and after much study he wrote this present book. He gives both scientific findings and Catholic teaching to show that the theory of Evolution is incompatible with both Catholic teaching and common sense. His reason for studying Evolution, as he quotes one eminent writer, is that Every attack on the Christian Faith made today has, as its basis, the doctrine of Evolution. Impr. 204 pgs, PB
Wallace Johnson, an Australian Catholic and businessman, was born in 1916. He devoted sixteen years of his life to the study of evolution versus creation, and also gave widespread lectures in Catholic and state high schools. Additionally, he addressed clerics and students at the Pius XII Seminary, Xavier Training College, and University of Queensland, Brisbane. Towards the end of his life, Mr. Johnson chose to communicate his ideas through his writings such as The Death of Evolution, published in 1982 and audio recordings, on topics including the Shroud of Turin and Our Lady of Fatima. He died of pancreatic cancer on the twenty-ninth of June, 1989, leaving a wife, two sons and numerous grandchildren.
