Dr Andrew Impey and Dr Mark Steer have worked as lecturers at the Universities of Bristol and the West of England, in Conservation and Ecology, and Conservation and Statistics. Mark received a British Association for the Advancement of Science (BA) media fellowship and has written science articles for BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Sunday Telegraph. Hayley Birch is a biology graduate and freelance science writer and recipient of a Wellcome Trust funded Association of British Science Writers bursary for postgraduate science communication studies at UWE. Hayley has also written articles for Nature, BBC Focus magazine and The Naked Scientists.
