Dofka, Charline M.: - Charline Dofka was a dental assistant/hygienist in oral surgery, orthodontics and general practices before she became a dental assisting instructor and Diversified Cooperative Health Occupations coordinator at Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Along with teaching duties, she chartered the National Honor Society participation of the vocational school and was adviser for the VICA opening and closing ceremony team to national competition representing the state of Ohio. Retired from active teaching, Dofka maintains life membership in the Iota Lambda Sigma professional vocational teaching fraternity, DANB dental assisting certification and retired status as a dental hygienist in West Virginia. She currently serves in consultation practice and advisory board capacity. Dofka received an MS from the University of Dayton and has pursued postgraduate studies at Ohio State, West Virginia University, Kent State and Ohio University.
