William V. Myres (1915-1987) was an attorney, theologian, and educator. He served as a professor and academic dean at Decatur Baptist College, where he taught religion, Greek, Hebrew, and political science. He was instrumental in the effort to relocate the Decatur campus to its present location in Dallas, where it continues to thrive as Dallas Baptist University. Dr. Myres had an abiding academic interest in the psychology of religious belief.
