The Devil's Son by Jennifer Loren

Chief of Police, Brady Simone is determined to go after the man that killed his parents but his new brother-in-law, Nicholas Jayzon, is doing everything he can to point him away from the man known as The Barron. The Barron, or rather, Dennis Savage, has inflicted his own kind of evil on people for longer than anyone can remember. Savage has no fear because no one can touch him, no one can get near him . except Nick.

Jennifer Loren earned a Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Architecture and Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a second degree in Computer Design. Riley, her German Shepherd, lives with her in Atlanta, Georgia. Her ambitions to be a writer have been in the back of her mind since she began writing as a child. She, like many others in her field, was laid off during the recent economic downturn. There was little chance for a career, and even less so when Diabetic Retinopathy, an eye ailment, took its toll and she lost her vision totally in her left eye and partially in her right.

She retreated into the world she knew as a child, where she regained her love for making up stories, with little hope and few options. After a series of procedures, she was able to regain the majority of her vision and decided to pursue an old hobby and a new passion in her life.
